New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2016-17: Dennis Basso
New York, NY – Dennis Basso debuted his Fall 2016 Runway Collection at New York Fashion Week on Tuesday, February 16that 2:00pm in The Arc at Moynihan Station.
The collection is inspired by the natural untamed beauty of the modern woman who is effortlessly both wild and elegant, influenced by the deep winter woods mystery and intrigue.
Combinations of silks and lace, velvet, damasks, and fil coupe, either alone or embellished with statement stones are used in slim silhouettes of pale gold, platinum, Bordeaux, taupe and slate. Dark and light ombre crocodiles, mixed wild furs of wolverine, sable, lippi, chinchilla, broadtail and mink intarsias are crafted in cape coats, long vests, hooded coats and tunic dresses.
